Bayleaf Brass is a professional standard Brass Quintet from West Sussex. All five study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and they are tutored at Guildhall by John Macdominic.
Despite the ensembles brief two-year history, they have had many successes both on and off the stage. Some of these include winning the Arun Young Musician of the Year contest in 2008 and qualifying for the final of the National Festival of Music for Youth, where the band were incredibly well received by the judges, with comments such as ‘Their stage presence is strong and they have the virtuosity to back this up.’
Bayleaf Brass has also made appearances in some of the West Sussex town festivals including the prestigious Arundel Festival. The band constantly play at the ‘Weald and Downland Open Air Museum’ so look out for them if you are there.
Bayleaf is available to play at a whole verity of private, commercial or public functions including; garden parties, birthday parties, weddings, fetes and even the opening of yacht clubs.
